How reviews work
MimoSpot reviews are verified: they only come from customers who booked and paid for the service through the platform.
Who can leave a review
Only customers who booked and paid for a service through MimoSpot, and only after the service is completed. Each booking allows one review. We don’t accept reviews from people who didn’t have the service, nor paid reviews or reviews given in exchange for discounts.
When
Customers can leave a review as soon as the professional completes the service and for up to 14 days afterwards. We send at most two email reminders.
What is published
The stars (1 to 5), the tags chosen by the customer and the comment, with the customer’s first name and surname initial. Emails and phone numbers written in the comment are hidden automatically.
Moderation
We publish all reviews, positive and negative. Reviews containing insults or offensive language, sexual or pornographic content, discriminatory or offensive religious content, threats, links or advertising are not published: they are rejected automatically and the author receives an email explaining why, and can write another one within the deadline. The team may also hold back or hide reviews that contain personal data, are unrelated to the service or are proven to be false. Anyone can report a review; the MimoSpot team looks at every report.
Professional’s reply
The professional can reply publicly once to each review. They can’t edit or delete the review.
How we calculate the rating
The rating shown is the simple average of the stars. To sort search results we use a weighted average that takes into account the number of reviews, completed services and cancellations: that way, a single 5-star review isn’t worth more than dozens of very good reviews. Profiles with fewer than 3 reviews are shown as "New on MimoSpot".
